Morzine
Morzine’s location in the middle of the Portes du Soleil in the French Alps means its close to other 14 resorts, and while Morzine’s snowfall is unpredictable, it is a short trip from there to Avoriaz and Flaine. Portes du Soleil has 403 miles of tended trails and slopes and limitless off piste terrain.
Morzine has easy road access, gentle tree lined slopes and a traditional village and atmosphere which make it popular with families. Half of the resorts runs are rated at beginner or intermediate level.
Morzine features a snow park with half pipe for snowboarders. There is also a wide range of alternative activities including paragliding, ice hockey, saunas and sleigh rides.
