Hiding between the spectacular Dolomites, this resort town looks fantastic – think saunas and spectacular scenery, rocky spires like huge sundials and lots of good intermediate runs. There are around 50kms worth of runs close to the town, but more within a bus rides distance, and about 200kms worth of superb cross country trails.

The town itself is a more of an authentic local hamlet than a resort, the food is a famous blend of Italian and Austrian.
