Not Banff but almost – big chewing it up scenery and what appears to be unlimited dreamy off piste. Wild and wonderful, this is big, clean, open, mountain terrain complete with gullies, bowls, big bowls and chutes perfect for sound skiers who like to get off the worn tracks. Someone famous famously said ‘more terrain than you can ski in a week – even if you can ski pretty damn fast.’.
Much improved lift system over the past few years means more crowds but you see less of them. Still possible to stay in a wood lodge and sip coco by the fire but equally you can go upmarket or stay out all hours with the boyz on the terrain parks.
