The resort of Kopaonik in Serbia has been gaining in popularity over the past few years thanks to its recent and numerous developments. It's a gem of a resort, nestled between powdered coniferous forests and has some stunning scenery. It has a good snowfall every season and has more than its fair share of sunshine. It is a good resort for families, with gentle nursery slopes for beginners and some challenging black runs for the more experienced skier. The local amenities are excellent and the whole resort has been purpose built with enjoyment in mind. Après ski is readily available at the resort's numerous pubs, bars, and nightclubs. There is also the opportunity to try cross-country skiing and night skiing, as well as Skidooing, sledging and ice skating.
