Walk out onto Via Montenapoleone and luxury will be all you can see, smell, and taste. With designer shops like Gucci, Versace, Prada, and Salvatore Ferragamo lining this famous avenue, its easy to see that fashion doesn't get more serious than it does here. Clothes bought at these upscale boutiques are to be worn and flaunted, while the jewelry and shoes are genuine works of art that are to die for. A mix of 15 of the top designer galleries and elegant fashion outlets, Via Montenapoleone is mostly for window shopping, while warmly embracing (and tempting!) you with the posh ambiance of wealthy Milan.

If you can't splurge on a new Dolce and Gabbana dress, you must at least take a trip to Gelateria Ecologica for a deliciously satisfying treat on a warm day in Milan. Their homemade, fantastic gelato will take your mind off the expensive shopping disasters you've encountered.. Traveling by subway to Via Montenapoleone is easy. Take subway stop San Babila; Bus 54, 61, 65, 73, for the quickest way to take a look at the chic designs of the street.
