A bustling area for San Frans locals and tourists alike, the Union Square area will never leave you with nothing to do. Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco in the center of four major streets- Post, Geary, Powell and Stockton. Just about every store imaginable is located here, with prices ranging from that of the high-end Versace to the inexpensive and hip Forever 21. Union Square is also a mix of big department stores such as Barneys, Bloomingdales, and Saks Fifth Avenue and smaller specialty shops like Papermania, Pesarisi Ceramics, and Needlepoint, Inc. Quite a few art galleries also inhabit this land.
When the crowds and mirrors get to be too much, you can take in a show at one of the theaters or relax overnight in one of the many, many hotels in the Square.
