Called the Landmark for a good reason, the Hong Kong shopping center has a strong presence in the central area of the city. With hot designer shops like Celine, Loewe, Gucci, Joyce Boutique, Hermès, and Prada, you can find the best of the best fashion, accessories, and gifts neatly packed into Central's most prestigious shopping site. Because Hong Kong imposes no import tax, no sales tax or value added tax, prices on designer leather and jewelry, especially, are more attractive here than anywhere else in the world.

Even after you're done spending, the Landmark is still a great place to window shop and people watch. Many 'beautiful fashionistas' trounce around here in search of their next obscure, trend-setting accessory or stop for a non-fat latte at the atrium cafe.

Shop for: Good prices on designer apparel, gifts and jewlery

Cafe stop: La Terrazza

Get here: MTR Central Station
