One of the wealthy neighborhoods of Ottawa, Glebe attracts both tourists and locals alike with their quaint houses, trendy boutiques and fine dining. This is the area where the posh Canadians come to escape the busy atmosphere of downtown.

As tradition has it, the last Saturday in May each year is the “Great Glebe Garage Sale” where every household puts their unwanted items up for sale, attracting tag sale lovers and bargain hunters from great distances. The sellers are expected to donate a portion of their profits to a designated charity.
