The center of Copenhagen is filled with shops for people of all tastes. Designer stores are splattered all over the place, but there are also plenty of individual shops with eclectic and funky things, down small streets and alleyways, to satisfy your hunger. The two longest shopping streets are Strøget and Købmagergad- where you will find the typical international best sellers like Prada, Max Mara, Cerutti, Mulberry, Chanel and Benetton. The two oldest department stores in Cophenhagen are also here- Illum and Magasin.
Fret not if another Louis Vuitton bag is not what you're in the market for- there are many side streets off the main roads that offer a refreshing, stylish change of pace. A small detour away from Strøget is the charming area around Grønnegade with Tudor houses refurbished into exclusive boutiques- meaning beautifully crafted shoes and clutches galore! Also, poke through the racks of Wettergern & Grauman, a clothes store with luxurious vintage clothing for the modern business woman.
The lush Galleri K is located right behind Illum. Popular Danish designers such as By Marlene Birger and DAY have opened impressive flagship stores here, as well as other favorites such as Urban Outfitters and Adidas.
Shop for: Women & Men's clothing, House décor
Cafe Stop: Café de la Menthe, a Moroccan tea room
How to get here: Just a two minute walk from the Central Station
