Although the sidewalks can sometimes seem narrow and crowded, Pyatnitskaya Street is still one of Moscow's most popular destinations for shopping and fine dining, among locals and visitors alike. There are more than 100 different retail shops so they'll be something for everyone you're with. Popular stores include Realist men's clothes shop, Ecco and the Vtoroye Dykhanie commission shop, which sells secondhand clothing worn by the wealthy. Several local artists sell their paintings and sculptures in independent galleries and shops, as well as traditional Russian crafts.
