A smaller, more attractive version of New York City, Boston even has its own, more-charming, take on Fifth Avenue which goes by the name of Newbury Street. Not only will you find all the shops you love- like Gap, H & M, Kate Spade, and Marc Jacobs, but they will be housed in the historic storefronts of Boston's mid-late 19th century architecture. The high fashion of big designers such as Chanel, Lacoste and Ralph Lauren will delight you, but you will also have the opportunity to peek through racks of eclectic and vintage clothes at the smaller boutiques and consignment shops.

On a warmer day or just for a lick of something sweet, the homemade ice cream at J.P Licks is out of this world. The clever combinations of ingredients will make your mouth water, just from reading the menu! The many intimate coffee shops, with both indoor and outdoor seating, rare antiques shops and custom clothiers all add to the refined shopping experience on one of Boston's most famed streets.
