If you've ever thought after seeing Champs Elysees and Rodeo Drive that all big cities have an exclusive row of designer shops and that they are all exactly alike... well you're probably right. The same can be said about the Golden Circle in Monte Carlo. Three major streets- avenue Monte Carlo, avenue des Beaux-Arts and allees Lumieres- form this exclusive shopping area. You'll see the fabulously designed windows of Hermes, Dior, Prada, and Gucci and their tempting invitations to come inside. But even if you can't afford the prices at Yves St. Laurent and Bvgalri, you still have the options of strolling into some of the boutiques on the smaller side streets which offer somewhat less expensive, but still trendy attire. Cafes and restaurants are strategically placed in between the shops, for either a quick bite to eat or a romantic dinner on the terrace.

Shop for: Designer fashion and accessories

Cafe Stop: Restaurant L’Hirondelle

Get here: Depending on your starting location, you may easily be able to walk. Otherwise, there are frequent city buses that stop here.
