Listed under Parks & Gardens in Rheinland, Germany.
Close to the Germany’s borders the beautiful hills and valleys carved out by the river Rhine have changed hands several times throughout history, and the region and its culture are thought of as more colourful than the areas which surround it. The area’s suitability for wine production probably lends weight to this assumption, and has something to do with the popularity of cheerful local folk songs. Romantic looking castles and churches and pretty towns add to the Rhineland’s charm.
