Listed under Parks & Gardens in Washington D.C., United States.
The Olympic Sculpture Park was opened in 2007 and consists of many artistic pieces for the public to view. Admission to the park is free so it is a great attraction to visit for an enjoyable day of relaxing.
Some of the pieces at the park include Wake, Typewriter Eraser, Bunyon's Chess and Eagle. The Eagle piece is the main attraction in the park and is a large orange structure that stands about 39 feet tall. The piece was constructed in Texas, moved to Philadelphia until Seattle made arrangements to acquire it.
The park is closed on many major holidays and closes and opens 30 min. after sunrise and sunset.
