Listed under Road Trips in Nice, France.
This stretch of coast, officially between Menton and Cassis along the French Mediterranean, was the world's first beach resort playground of the wealthy, and has retained that reputation since the 18th century. Play like the royals did and do in the attractive towns, with the swanky seaside restaurants and cafes and spend your days getting delightfully sunkissed in the clear waters before dancing the nights away in the bars and clubs. The classic route takes advantage of the sunshine and gorgeous towns and views between between Nice and Monte Carlo.
