Known as the “Natural State,” Arkansas is home to beautiful scenery, for which it is not always given credit. This scenic byway through the Ozark Mountains highlights some of that forgotten beauty, as illustrated in the mountains and valleys it cuts through.

Small farms dot the sides of the highway and strong oak trees cover the hillsides. Take time to enjoy the ride, and stop along the way in one of the charming towns this road trip in northwest Arkansas highlights.
