The Ayung River runs through a deep canyon in the Balinese rainforest. Professional rafting companies offer rafting trips down the river, taking in the canyon’s lush scenery, rapids and waterfalls. The rapids aren’t the most exciting you’ll find in Bali (most are class I or II), but the scenery is fantastic and it’s a good trip for a first-time rafter. You can also go canoeing or kayaking.
