Vue de Monde is a unique dining experience with options ranging from reasonably priced lunch menus (only available Tuesday through Friday) to non-existent dinner menus! For dinner, diners “agree on the number of courses (six is good, 13 a bit much) they’d like and how much they’d care to spend, and the servers surprise you with the food” (gourmettraveller.com). All the dishes are served on different types of plates “'for diners who appreciate their food prepared with flair, finesse & personalised attention” (Dine Out Guide 2007). Newly located in the historic CBD building in Melbourne, “Vue de Monde offers the finest French cuisine and service” (Dine Out Guide 2007) in “a classy modern restaurant offering classically-inspired French cuisine and impeccable service” (bestrestaurants.com). Vue de Monde is “glamorous, professional, ambitious and expensive” (theage.com) but also a wonderful degustation dining experience.
