Ol Donyo Wuas lies in the foothills of the Chyulu Range, the youngest range of volcanic hills in Africa. The rolling hills and the snow topped Kilimanjaro rising from the plain are truly stunning. The lodge consists of seven individual cottages built with local material and has a pool. Each has its own verandah and unspoiled views of the mountain, which is only 55 kms away. There is a centrally positioned sitting and dining room with an open fireplace; in front of the which there’s a waterhole where animals come to drink.
