Chief’s Camp consists of twelve luxury tents in the North-Western sector of Chief’s Island on the Piajio channel in the private Mombo concession of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Canvas-tented accommodation units feature earthy toned designer decor with natural, textured fibers. All units have en-suite facilities and a private viewing deck.

The camp has a lounge, bar and dining area, a swimming pool and a large viewing deck. Due to its large concentration of elephant, hippo, buffalo, lion, wild dog and plains game, Mombo is synonymous with prime game viewing. Activities consist of game drives in custom-built Land Cruisers and when water levels are high enough, seasonal mokoro water safaris. The majority of the concession is designated for accompanied walking safaris. With few roads leading into the camp, guests are assured of an exclusive safari experience.
