The Nathaniel Russell House is located in Charleston, South Carolina near High Battery. It was the property of a Rhode Island merchant, Nathaniel Russell, who bought the property with his wife Sarah in the 19th century.

It is one of the most notable and famous antebellum-period houses left in the United States. The museum currently houses memories of the Russell Family house and the African-American slaves and artisans who dwelled here.

The museum has tours as well as offices for the Historic Charleston Foundation. The museum also houses a large collection of fine and decorative art in its exhibition space.
