Monticello is the National Historic Landmark home of the third President of the United States and main author of the United States Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson is also buried on the premises at his direction. The house is located in Charlottesville, Virginia and has many different displays and exhibits for visitors to explore and enjoy.

Different exhibitions at Monticello include Thomas Jefferson and the Boisterous 'Sea of Liberty', Monticello as Experiment: “To Try All Things”, Making Monticello: Jefferson's 'Essay in Architecture', The Worlds of Thomas Jefferson and Griffin Discovery Room. Also on the premises are a historic garden. Monticello is open every day of the year except for Christmas Day.

Prices on tickets range anywhere from $8-$37.
