First Soviet leader. Lenin's body is embalmed and on display inside a humidified glass casket within the pyramidal marble mausoleum. A team of 15 scientists work to preserve his remains and regular rejuvenation jobs are done on his hands and face twice a week and his body is soaked in a chemical bath for two months of the year.
