Grave of JFK

The grave of United States President John F. Kennedy is not only a place in which to mourn, but also to hope. As the youngest president in American history, Kennedy inspired a generation, and his legacy continues to do so today.

As visitors approach the grave, they are silenced and reflective. One can only hope they are recalling the words of the President: “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”

The Eternal Flame which stands behind the gravesite is a vigilant reminder of the life of the man interred there, but also a symbol of the message he demonstrated to Americans across the nation- to live a life that will touch others, even in the darkest of times.
