21/06/1899 – 02/07/1961

Nobel and Pulitzer prize winning author of (among others) 'The Old Man and the Sea', 'For Whom the Bell Tolls' and 'Death in the Afternoon'. Hemingway's life is well commemorated and not just in his novels, his houses in both the US and Cuba have been reserved intact and are now shrine like museums.
