'Jacques Cartier Park is located on the sprawling banks of the Ottawa River, east of the Alexandra Bridge along Laurier Street. The large park offers a series of trails and interpretative exhibits and provides a beautiful view of downtown Gatineau, Ottawa and the Rideau Falls. The park is also connected to Leamy Lake and Gatineau River, which provides an endless list of water activities. In the core of the park you will discover Maison Charron, a heritage house that offers a unique cultural experience by local authors.'
