The Battery Park is located in Charleston, South Carolina. Battery Park, or The Battery, and includes the park and White Point Gardens. The park is known for its antebellum homes and prominence in the American Civil War.

The area was used as a place for artillery because of its location near Ashley and Cooper Rivers. The land gives an excellent view of Fort Sumter and Charleston Harbor.

Admission to the park is free and open daily. Many canons and mortars can be found here and it is a living monument to the American Civil War.
