The Sierra Nevadas of California make Yosemite National Park a place of staggering mountain views, lush vegetation, and home to the highest waterfall in North America. Visit the Tuolumne Meadows for colorful wildflowers and be surrounded by majestic peaks. Mariposa Gove will give you views of giant sequoias, and the nearby Wawona Hotel offers a golf course and stately rooms. Yosemite National Park is a huge tourist attraction for its beauty, and luckily there is enough for everyone.

How can this possibly be rated at 1.8 out of 5??????? In my opinion this is one the most beautiful places I have seen. We're from the UK and we drove around Western USA for a few weeks to celebrate my wifes 50th and took time to visit Yosemite, the drive alone into it is breath taking. We took the long route via Sonora Pass as Tioga was still closed, the heavy snow fall from the winter meant that the waterfalls were in full flow, the sun was shining 80degrees + but plenty of snow still clinging to the higher parts, simply stunning, nature at its best.

Nature at its best, stunning
Travelled from the UK and drove around W.USA for a few weeks to celebrate my wifes 50th. I am amazed that the rating for this place is so low, it is quite simply one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We drove via Sonora Pass (as Tioga was still closed) from Bodie (which is fascinating), the drive was long but breath taking, we stood alongside 10foot snowdrifts in 80degree heat wondering at the awe inspiring views. The heavy snow fall of the winter probably did mean we saw it at its best, with waterfalls in full flow, rivers raging but if 161 people only give this an average rating of 1.8, then I really need to go and see what you guys have seen as in my mind Yosemite is beautiful, nature at its best.
