The multitude of trails in Lake Superior Provincial Park covers miles of wilderness, including coastal areas, forests, and rivers. Hikers exposed to the rough terrain and often foul climate may be surprised to find pictographs over 2000 years old, indicating dwellings of ancient man in the area. Paddling, camping, hunting, and fishing are available recreational activities, but severe weather can put a damper in these plans, particularly in the colder months.
