A beautiful park of 11,600 hectares (25,520 acres), its main attraction is the lagoon that gives the park its name. It reflects an emerald green color and is bordered by irregular shores of volcanic ash and sediment. From it's heights, the dominant Antuco Volcano watches over this beautiful park, rich with vegetation, where mountain cypresses and ancient araucaria trees are prevalent in the landscape. Glaciers and waterfalls also make up part of the scenery.
