Unlike most National Parks, the predominant draw of Hot Springs National Park is not strictly natural, but historical.

Elegant buildings line Bathhouse Row, which includes the Fordyce, now a park museum, and the still-functioning Buckstaff Baths. Natural beauty does abound, however, and extensive trails offer the best option for those wishing to explore the more rustic sections of the park.
