The Daisetsuzan National Park is located on the Japanese island of Hokkaido. With an area of over 2,000 square kilometres, Daisetsuzan is the largest national park in Japan, featuring 16 snow capped mountain peaks - each peek measuring in at over 2,000 metres. The park is home of three rivers, the Tokachi, the Ishikari, and the Chubetsu. Each river forms another one of the parks attractions, it's gorges. You can take a chair lift that reaches heights of over 4,000 feet above sea level and survey them from above. The Daisetsuzan National Park is connected with the Akan National Park by the Daisetsuzan highway. This area is packed with mountain ranges and volcanoes to see.
