Custer State park is located in the Blackhills of South Darkota. This park is a wildlife reserve and covers 71,000 acres and many wild animals. Some of these animals include mountain lions, prairie dogs, bison and pronghorn antelope.

Hiking, biking, rock climbing, camping, fishing and driving are all activities that can be enjoyed while at Custer State Park. If you plan on driving through the area, be sure to look for the begging burros in the area. These are donkeys that come right up to your car window and beg for food!
