The Arches National Park preserves over 2,000 natural sandstone structures including the famous Delicate Arch. These amazing arches give insight into the history of the world and its creation. The park has not only a natural history but also human influenced.  Both the Fremont and Ancient Pueblo lived in this area 700 years ago.

Recreational activities in the park include backpacking, hiking, camping, biking and others. There are also guided tours with rangers available. The park is located just outside of Moab, Utah and is 119 sq. miles. Of the structures that have been in the park, 43 have collapsed due to erosion since 1970. The park is open all year round and the visitor center is closed only on Christmas Day.
