Also known as The Playhouse, the Paramount Theater is located in Rutland, Vermont. This theater was thought as one of the finest in the early 20th century. The artistic design and classical style exterior mesmerized visitors during their visit to the building.

The theater now hosts events ranging from comedy, music,educational and performance entertainment. The playhouse also hosts films on specified dates.  Some past films include Groundhog Day, Mary Poppins, Chicago, Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory and more.
