Don't get complacent at this festival's name, yes, it's kinda cool in a kinda naff kinda way, but it's also on a moor in the Yorkshire Dales between Leeds and Bradford so it's descriptive, as well as the kind of name that rolls off your tongue. The setting is nothing short of lovely: pleasing, and the music will be pleasing to variety of tastes, with stages for blues and acoustic, rock and reggae and one for electronica raving. There are also performance spaces for cabaret, break dancing, circus skills and a cinema tent. There's also a kid's tent. And a cycle powered disco where you have to pedal to party, so for once saying there's something for everyone isn't a naff exaggeration.
Moor Music is independent and un-sponsored so there are a lot of local acts on the bill and not that many huge names.
The festival dates change but they're usually round the first or second week of August.
