The trendy Berlin club scene has spread outside Berlin, into a coal mine that's been converted into an amusement park of all places. Under mining gear decked out in mirror balls, cutting edge of cool indie, electro and disco music plays and the cool kids get right down to it. They get the big names in too, for example the 2009 line up includes Bloc Party, Apex twin and Oasis, but they also get a lot of up-and-commers and DJs and there are more than 80 live acts performing over six floors of old mine. Dates in mid to late July.
