Located in Southern Vermont, this festival is held during the summer and dedicated to the future musicians of this world. The festival is held in the small town of Marlboro and the students learn together for several months, sometimes as many as 240 works, during the months of July to August. The students show what they have learned during their intense rehearsal and exchanging idea sessions.

The festival is held every weekend during the summer while the students continue to learn the art of music. Yo-Yo Ma even studied here and decided to be a musician after staying in the small town.
