Canaries Jazz and Mas Festival
Listed under Music Festivals in Canary Islands, Spain.
Laid back sounds in a laid back, sunny setting – the Canaries aren't really the place to sing the blues, but during early to mid July it's a good place for jazz, as the sounds of the sax hitches a ride on to the ocean breezes floating round the islands. The concerts are mostly open air, may as well make use of the reliably lovely weather, and each year there are a selection of free concerts to get visitors in the mood, as well as master classes, showcases of local jazz talents and big international acts. The location probably increases the appeal of playing here as well as attending this festival.
