Sweden's National Museum of Art was founded in 1792 and represents a collection of 12,500 works of art, with particularly strengths in Swedish and Nordic art. The museum also has a very fine collection of Rembrandt paintings, which are shown in a single room; the print and drawing displays include a nearly complete collection of prints by Manet.
