If you don't visit the Guggenheim for the art, visit for Frank Lloyd Wright's building, New York's only example. The permanent exhibitions of 19th- and 20th-century art are particularly noteworthy for work by Kandinsky, Klee and Picasso, and French Impressionists including Cezanne and Degas. The collections are patchier than those of MoMA or the Whitney but the temporary exhibitions are world class.
