Listed under Art Collections in London, United Kingdom.
The Royal Collection is a glorious anomaly, a trove of art and other treasures acquired by monarchs of Britain over the centuries and held in trust for the nation. As well as wonderful works of art, there are more unusual collections representing the taste of individual monarchs (Queen Alexandra had a liking for Fabergホ) and the spoils of various tours around the kingdom, notably the Cullinan Diamond. Tiny selections from the Royal Collection go on show at the Queen's Gallery, in a chapel at Buckingham Palace.
