Since its opening in 1796, the main objective of the Prague National Gallery has always been to represent Czech's history through art and to elevate the nation's spirit through works of art. The collections are housed in several building across the city, but the main gallery is split into four floors and you pay for each floor you want to look at. World renowned paintings from Picasso and Van Gogh are on these floors as well as paintings from Czech artists. If your holiday happens to be during the first Wednesday afternoon of the month, you'll get in for free!
