The section of the Peggy Guggenheim collection on show in Venice is more eclectic than elsewhere; it's housed in the charming Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, where she lived for 30 years. The important artistic movements of the first half of the 20th century are all represented: big names from Cubism, Futurism, abstract, Surrealist and Modernist painting are all on show. The gardens are dedicated to sculpture.
