The Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica, in the splendid Baroque Palazzo Barberini, forms part of Italy's national collection of ancient art. The Palazzo's lavish apartments are at their best in the rococo Gallery of Decorative Art. The collection contains significant masterpieces by Tintoretto, Caravaggio and El Grecos, among many others.
