A great place for lovers of archeology - the National Museum of Prehistory is filled with all sorts of bones, carvings and engravings. It features one of the most important stone and bone collections in France, as well as the premier collection of paleolithic engravings and sculptures in the world. Also on this site is the old castle of the Barons of Beynac and the Museum of Speleology in the Rocher de Tayac.
