Listed under Art Collections in Boston, United States.
This old Boston institution boasts an impressively comprehensive collection. In particular, it's known for the Morse collection of some 5,000 pieces of Japanese pottery and for 18th and 19th century American art. The Egyptian galleries show artefacts including sculptures, sarcophagi and jewellery; there is also a good section of French Impressionist and post-Impressionist painting.
