The third point in Madrid's Golden Triangle of Art, the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza is housed in a fine neo-classical building. The collection is shown chronologically, from the Renaissance to the late 20th century. It covers Impressionists, Expressionists, and European and American paintings from the second half of the 20th century, as well as major works from the English, Dutch and German schools.
