The Kampa Museum is a collection that was founded pretty much entirely by Meda and Jan Miladek. Meda Miladek acquired unique works during her travels through Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary, and Yugoslavia in the 1960s. With so many pieces of art in hand, the Miladeks decided to open the museum in 2002 so the works could be openly displayed to the public. You can see their expanding collection any day of the week- but it's free admission on Mondays.
