The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum is home to the largest collection of woodblock prints in the world. Located in Nagano, the museum was started by a wealthy woodblock print collector over 300 years ago. The size of his collection grew and his descendants added on to it and the count currently stands at over 100,000 pieces.
